The shift pattern for this post is Monday - Friday, day shift.

Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Part time Band 7 Senior Charge Nurse to share the leadership of the nursing team in Orthopaedic Trauma Ward.
Responsibilities
You will be the line manager for the nursing/midwifery team and have responsibility for registered and unregistered staff within the ward. You will have responsibility for ensuring that standards of practice are maintained, reviewed and continuously developed and that staff deliver safe, effective, patient‑centred, efficient, timely and equitable care within their scope of practice.
You will contribute to the management of the ward budget by ensuring effective use of physical, human and financial resources e.g. the nursing/midwifery resource and supplies including pharmaceutical supplies and equipment. Implement and support an effective and efficient system of clinical supervision for all nursing staff.
Qualifications
It is essential that you are currently a Registered Nurse with the NMC with evidence on continuing professional development. You should have substantial post registration experience within Orthopaedics or you can demonstrate expert clinical and professional practice developed through experience and theoretical knowledge.
