Hours: 30 hours per week, on a rolling rota basis, Monday - Friday
24-hour service including sleep-ins
Salary: £25,877.80 – £28,930 (pro rata)
Contract: 12 Months Fixed Term (Maternity Cover)

About the role
Our Wallace Gardens service provides 24 hour supported living, including accommodation for individuals with mental health needs, helping them to develop the skills required to live independently.
The service consists of six self-contained flats, where you’ll work closely with clients on a one-to-one basis, supporting their recovery journey and promoting independence.
You’ll support individuals with day-to-day living tasks, including medication observation and ordering, while helping them build the confidence and skills needed to move forward in their lives.
This role involves a high level of lone working, with support from the wider team and external partners such as social services.
What you’ll do
1. Provide person-centred support to individuals with mental health needs
2. Support clients with daily living tasks and tenancy-related responsibilities
3. Observe, record and support with medication (training provided)
4. Work collaboratively with external agencies and professionals
5. Promote independence, wellbeing and recovery
6. Maintain accurate records and contribute to support planning
What you’ll need
7. Previous experience or knowledge of mental health (essential)
8. Care Certificate or willingness to work towards this
9. Ability to work flexibly, including sleep-ins and weekends
10. Confidence in lone working and decision-making
11. Strong communication and relationship-building skills
12. Compassionate approach to supporting people with complex needs (including mental health and substance misuse)
13. Ability to motivate, support and advocate for people using the service
