We currently a vacancy for a Legal Assistant to join the Children and Families Legal Team.We are looking for a legal administrative person who may have had experience working within a local authority children's safeguarding team or in a solicitors' firm.The major part of the role will be to prepare court bundles on our case management system.The work that you will be carrying out will be pivotal in having a real impact on the service.If this is something that resonates with you, you will have the opportunity to work with and support a number of Lawyers and Paralegals covering public law child care proceedings.In return we would like you:• To be organised, flexible, work well under pressure & enjoy a challenge;• Assist our Team with time sensitive court matters (e.g. bundling)• Assist with our invoicing process as well as opening files on our case management system.• Arrange meetings, make telephone calls.• Be a point of contact with our Service Area clients.• Monitor our general inbox and allocate matters or queries to the relevant lawyers.If you are interested in the role please apply on our website with your CV, alternatively you can email your CV to Beth quoting the reference number.Essential Employment is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
