Based in Dartford, Kent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and operational efficiency of the Dartford river crossing and other M25 tunnels.

Our client is a prestigious joint venture between three Tier One contractors. They are the custodians of the M25, delivering both planned and reactive maintenance with a relentless focus on Zero Harm.
Key Responsibilities as an Electrical Maintenance Technician:
Perform planned maintenance and defect repairs on a wide range of electrical equipment, including 11kV switchgear, transformers, pumps, fans, VSDs, lighting, and associated control gear.
Execute repairs and maintenance on critical traffic safety systems, including sensors, barriers, and traffic signals.
Undertake complex fault finding and electrical installations using schematics and drawings, often without direct supervision.
Carry out diverse civil, electrical, and mechanical maintenance tasks as required.
Drive maintenance vehicles, ensuring all plant and equipment are safe and operational.
Attend incidents, working safely to minimise disruptions and facilitate early clear-up.
Strictly adhere to all Health & Safety requirements and promote safe working practices.What We’re Looking For:
A recognised Electrical Apprenticeship and relevant City & Guilds qualifications.
Current 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations certification.
Proven knowledge and extensive experience in electrical maintenance, particularly with generators and switchgear up to 11KV.
Strong fault-finding abilities using schematic drawings.
Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a high-demand environment.
Desirable certifications include MEWPs, Confined Spaces, Inspection & Testing (C&G 2391), CSCS Safety Card, IPAF, PASMA, G39, Working at Height, and First Aid.
Experience as an Authorised Person – HV is highly advantageous.Why Join Our Client?
