How you create impact Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the IS Project Management function, ensuring the performance, development, and engagement of all team members. Define and drive robust IS Project governance, leveraging standardised delivery frameworks, templates, and methodologies that consistently meet both business and customer expectations. Actively contribute throughout the entire project lifecycle, from early shaping of estimates and delivery roadmaps to implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement. Develop, maintain, and enforce formal procedures and policies that govern the IS Project Delivery function, ensuring consistent planning, execution, and operational excellence. Ensure all required quality management systems are embedded and adhered to for the delivery of Contract Logistics IS projects. Establish and maintain internal and external benchmarks, supported by clear KPIs, to measure, monitor, and continually enhance the quality of output across the IS Project Delivery function. Champion ongoing optimisation of the project lifecycle, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, strengthen governance, and improve outcomes. Identify, prioritise, and support the training and development needs of the team, establishing clear personal development plans, regular one to one reviews, and targeted training pathways. Drive greater standardisation across the IS Project Lifecycle, creating clarity, consistency, and improved delivery outcomes. Develop and curate a comprehensive library of Project Implementation Templates, equipping teams with high quality, repeatable tools that elevate execution. Introduce structured Customer Project Review sessions, enhancing insight, strengthening relationships, and complementing internal lessons learned processes. Lead the rationalisation and alignment of project implementation plans across the Contract Logistics IS Delivery function, ensuring a unified and efficient approach. Implement a robust KPI framework for Project Delivery and financial tracking, enabling timely visibility, accountability, and continuous performance improvement throughout the project lifecycle. What we would like you to bring Experience in senior IS Project Manager and delivery, with a strong background in the practical deployment of large scale applications Extensive experience in leading large heterogeneous technical solution teams of technology and functional designers Strong interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation and negotiation coupled with strong leadership, analytical and technical skills. Excellent communication and influencing skills to effectively manage project managers working across multiple implementations Risk analysis and management, estimation, planning and decision analysis skills. Knowledge of structured methodologies e.g. COBIT, TOGAF, ITIL Understanding of business process re-engineering principles and processes. Basic knowledge of financial models and Service Costings / Catalogue within ITIL Service Design.
