We are seeking an enthusiastic Band nurse to join our nurse-led unit at Swindon Renal Unit. Our facility offers outpatient services including haemodialysis, home dialysis, renal, and transplant clinics for patients in Swindon and surrounding areas. It operates as a satellite of the Oxford Kidney Unit.
The unit is closed on Sundays, Christmas, and New Year's Day. It operates from Monday to Saturday with no night shifts. Twilight shifts extend until midnight on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

1. Main duties
* To provide and maintain high standards of care reflecting the unit's philosophy for patients receiving renal replacement therapy and attending outpatient clinics or treatments related to renal failure.
* To assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients on maintenance haemodialysis.
* To act as a coordinator of the clinical area daily, sometimes in the absence of senior staff.
* To supervise and teach new staff, renal course students, care assistants, and pre-registration students, and assist in developing junior staff.
