Your responsibilities will be:
* Managing and monitoring the health and safety management system and the continual improvement of health and safety across the company.
* Developing, implementing and oversee the company's environmental management system ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
* Providing day-to-day support for managers and colleagues, ensuring policies and procedures are consistently applied in line with the principles of sensible risk management.
* Promoting a culture of managing and being accountable for risk
You will:
* Be NEBOSH Diploma or NEBOSH Certified
* Have proven experience working in a in Health and Safety in a lead role and experience in environmental management.
* Ideally, possess a working knowledge of a manufacturing environment and an applicable pragmatic approach
* Demonstrate an ability to conducting audits and undertake training
* Be a pro-active team player with confidence to work on own initiative.
* Display the ability to work in and adapt rapidly to a changing environment.
