Marketing Specialist at Air Products

An opportunity exists within the UK Marketing Team for an experienced Marketing Specialist who will lead the Food, Beverage and Agriculture product lines. The role is directly accountable for lead generation, brand awareness and product portfolio management for this segment in line with UKI and European objectives.
Responsibilities
* Define, communicate and implement the correct segment/offer/product strategy to deliver a successful go‑to‑market for new and existing offers, through local segment research and collaboration with Channel and Strategy management, Commercial Sales, and Central Marketing, and by creating/localising tailored value propositions, campaigns and sales tools.
* Report on all activities and sales to ensure smart measurement and delivery of an agreed return on investment through well‑planned strategy and budgeting for the segments owned.
* Manage local product/offer/solution lifecycle (from launch to end of life) with key partners locally and globally to maximise performance.
* Increase market share across agreed segment products/offers/solutions highlighted as part of the business strategy.
* Maintain a required level of knowledge of segments/products/offers and solutions through external research.
* Use product management skills to improve efficiencies and margin, utilising all 7Ps.
* Own communication for the segment including content creation; social media campaign development; pay‑per‑click campaigns; website and SEO optimisation.
* Maintain and develop relationships with targeted trade associations and trade media to cascade segment propositions to a wider audience and leverage industry research and connections.
Qualifications
* Degree qualified.
* Proven experience in a marketing role within a large corporate environment.
* Planning and execution of multiple omnichannel campaigns.
* Strategic problem‑solving with a solid business understanding and a commercial approach to marketing activities.
* Budget management, reporting and measurement of campaigns and activities.
* Demonstrable marketing analytical skills to correlate results, objectives and inputs.
* Strong written, communication, presentation, training and negotiation skills.
* Expertise in stakeholder management.
* Ability to work at pace under pressure on multiple projects.
