Job Description:
Lithium3 IT Consulting Limited are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with deep expertise in Siemens Opcenter to lead the architectural planning and execution of an upgrade to a newer version of Opcenter. This is a critical role within our digital manufacturing transformation initiative with our client, requiring strong cross-functional leadership, MES architecture knowledge, and hands-on experience with Opcenter implementations and upgrades.
6 months initially with funding through to 2027.
Market rates for Architects with Opcenter experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the end-to-end solution architecture for the upgrade of Siemens Opcenter to the latest version.
* Evaluate current system architecture and define target state architecture and transition roadmap.
* Conduct gap analysis between existing Opcenter implementation and new version features/requirements.
* Collaborate with IT, business stakeholders, and Siemens support teams to gather and align requirements.
* Define upgrade approach including re-implementation, migration, configuration, and customization strategies.
* Ensure integration compatibility with surrounding systems.
* Oversee data migration strategy, system validation, and performance tuning post-upgrade.
* Support testing, user acceptance, training, and go-live readiness.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal IT governance.
* Provide technical leadership and mentor developers and integration engineers.
