About the Role
We’re looking for a Junior Kitchen Manager/Sous Chef for our Papa John’s kitchen. Reporting to the Kitchen Manager/Head Chef, you will support the running of the kitchen and lead a team of up to 10. Your focus will be on ensuring guests remain central to all operational decisions, including resource planning and recruitment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support kitchen operations and lead a team of up to 10.
* Deliver food cost budgets and manage margins, including effective menu planning and cooking to standards.
* Maintain food hygiene standards, health and safety, inline with legislation and company policies.
* Monitor guest experience, develop action plans and drive continuous improvement.
* Support recruitment and training to maintain a high‑performance team.
Qualifications
* Level 3 Food Safety qualification.
* Experience in a similar role, confident in leading a fast‑paced kitchen team.
* Energetic, determined, and able to drive teamwork and brand standards.
* Preferred: Experience working at Papa John’s with ROC or AROC qualification.
