This welcoming secondary school in BA14 is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis from September. The school is committed to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student is encouraged to succeed both academically and personally.
You'll work closely with teachers and support staff to help students engage with their learning, build confidence, and make meaningful progress throughout their secondary education.
What you'll be doing
Supporting students in lessons on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
Assisting teachers with the delivery of engaging learning activities
Encouraging positive behaviour and classroom engagement
Helping students develop confidence, independence, and resilience
Working closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and families to support student progress
What you'll bring
Experience working with young people, ideally within an educational setting
A patient, positive, and adaptable approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A genuine passion for supporting students to achieve their goals
The ability to work effectively as part of a team
