The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join the team on major projects in the Midlands region. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile developments across sectors such as Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, Data Centres, and Industrial.
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, proven leadership skills, and experience managing internal fit-outs — ideally including cleanroom construction, although this is not essential.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical guidance and support to the Project Manager and project team.
Liaise daily with the design team, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Carry out technical verification of designs, models, and drawings.
Implement and oversee QA/QC procedures, including pre- and post-pour checks, RFIs, and issue resolution.
Assist in monitoring and maintaining safe working practices on site.
Track and report on materials, plant, and logistics.
Maintain accurate project records and produce regular reports.Requirements
Relevant third-level degree in engineering or construction.
6+ years’ experience in a similar role with a main contractor.
Strong background in internal fit-out projects (cleanroom experience desirable but not essential).
Familiarity with BCAR and QA/QC procedures.
Proven experience liaising with design teams.
Excellent IT skills, including AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office.
