Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Romford, Greater London
Salary/Benefits: £26k - £42k + Training & Benefits
Due to continued growth, a privately-owned Asbestos company is seeking a professional Asbestos Surveyor to join their South Eastern outfit. Our client is looking for a hardworking and knowledgeable individual, who can hit the ground running upon joining the company. You will be covering sites around the South East, so access to the M25 would be desirable. The successful candidate can expect competitive basic salaries (reflective of experience and qualifications) in addition to usual benefits, including: use of a fleet vehicle, overtime, training, pension scheme and annual leave allowance.

Experience / Qualifications:
* Proven track record working as an Asbestos Surveyor
* Must hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent, as a minimum
* Conversant on HSG 264 guidelines
* Comfortable working to UKAS guidelines
* Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
* Hardworking attitude
The Role:
* Performing the full range of asbestos surveys (demolition, refurbishment and management)
* Conducting ad-hoc re-inspection surveys
* Collecting asbestos samples from site and delivering to the lab for analysis
* Producing detailed survey reports and schematic drawings
* Being a key point of contact for clients, providing technical and logistical support
* Supporting the training of new surveyors / team members
* Adhering to safety guidelines
* Working across a variety of domestic and commercial contracts
