Job Description
About the Republic of Consciousness
Founded in 2016, the Republic of Consciousness supports small presses across the UK and Republic of Ireland. Over the past nine years, we have awarded over £112,000 in prize money. Our Book of the Month (BoM) Club has sold more than 6,000 books from over 30 independent publishers. Given that average sales for debut literary fiction in 2019 were under 400 copies, our impact is both necessary and meaningful.
We're now rebranding as The Small Press Fiction Prize, with exciting plans to collaborate with Queen Mary University of London for our 10th anniversary. As we grow, we're looking for a proactive and organised Prize Administrator to support this next phase.
