Support Worker – CT Area Radiology
Applications are invited for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join the CT area of the Radiology department.
We are expanding our team to support the Hull Community Diagnostic Hub, which has opened recently in the centre of Hull. This is a brand‑new diagnostic facility.
We are looking for a friendly team member who is able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication and customer‑care skills, along with the ability to work under pressure, prioritise workload and work using their own initiative.
Key responsibilities:
* Assist Radiographers and Radiologists in delivering a high‑quality service.
* Engage effectively with the general public and support patient workflows.
Previous experience of dealing with the general public is essential.
This advertised vacancy does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa and therefore HUTH would not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role.
Work will involve nights, evenings, weekends, bank holidays and all hospital sites (Hull CDC Hub, Castle Hill Hospital and Hull Royal Infirmary). Flexibility in working patterns is required, along with the ability to multi‑task and work across different areas of Radiology beyond the main CT base.
Applicant qualifications:
* Good standard of general education to GCSE level or equivalent.
* Understanding and working knowledge of computer systems.
