About this opportunity:
The Cumberland Global Resettlement Service (CGRS) is responsible and committed to the resettlement, integration and wellbeing of Refugee’s and Evacuees arriving in the United Kingdom under ‘safe and legal routes’ via several government schemes, such as homes for Ukraine. The CGRS also recognises support required by people seeking Asylum as well as those who have been granted Refugee Status by the UK Government following assessment by the Home Office and endeavour to assist with their integration needs.
We are looking to recruit Refugee Families Resettlement Officer to meet their support needs via effective casework, partnership work and signposting. We are seeking a highly motivated, professional, and passionate individual who demonstrates the core Cumberland Council values through everything they do.
You should have knowledge and experience of working with people at an Early Help level or similar and experience of working with displaced people would also be desirable. Above all else, you should be committed to working with and supporting some of our most vulnerable residents within Cumberland.

This role requires a DBS check. The level of check for this role is - Enhanced DBS Check with a Children’s Barred List check.
