About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Social Worker to join a dedicated Children in Care (CIC) Team in Medway, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate professional who is committed to improving outcomes for children and young people in care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a caseload of children and young people in care, ensuring their safety, stability, and well-being.
* Develop and implement care plans tailored to the needs of each child.
* Undertake statutory visits, assessments, and reviews in line with legislation and local authority procedures.
* Work collaboratively with foster carers, families, schools, and multi-agency partners.
* Prepare high-quality reports for reviews, court proceedings, and care planning meetings.
* Support young people in achieving permanence and positive long-term outcomes.
