Robert Half is proud to be exclusively partnered with a growing and forward-thinking business in Langley to recruit an Interim Finance Manager. This newly created position is a key hire that will play an instrumental role in aligning finance with wider business strategy. It's an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional looking to step into a broad, hands-on role with real influence.
The Role
As Interim Finance Manager, you'll be responsible for the smooth running of day-to-day financial operations while also delivering high-quality reporting and insight that informs strategic decision-making. You'll work closely with the Head of Finance and senior leadership, manage a small team, and act as a trusted business partner across departments.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage core finance functions including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger
* Lead the month-end and year-end close processes
* Deliver timely and accurate financial reports with insightful analysis
* Prepare budgets, forecasts, KPIs, and monthly management accounts
* Drive improvements in cash flow, working capital and cost control
* Support the external audit process and ensure ongoing compliance
* Strengthen financial controls and ensure adherence to internal policies
* Mentor and develop junior team members
* Provide strategic input to support key business initiatives
* Lead ad hoc projects and continuous improvement across the finance function
About You
* ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent)
* Solid grounding in core finance processes and reporting
* Proven experience with management accounts, budgeting, and forecasting
* Commercially astute with a proactive, solution-led approach
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Comfortable operating in a fast-paced and evolving environment
