We are supporting with their search for a confident and focused Management Accountant to join their fast paced finance team. This role will give you the opportunity to expand your knowledge and really add value to the future success of the business.
This position offers a salary up to £45,000 per annum.
Role responsibilities:
Full preparation of management accounts for your specified area.
Supporting with budgeting and forecasting.
Carrying out balance sheet reconciliations.
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with budget holders and senior management.
Hold regular meetings with heads of departments to review results.
Month, quarter and year end close and reporting in a timely manner.
HMRC reporting - VAT returns etc.
Working with the wider finance team to drive continued improvement to processes and procedures and supporting with implementation of new ideas.
Candidate skills and attributes:
Minimum of three years previous experience with producing management accounts and reporting.
Demonstrate commercial acumen and identify new business opportunities.
Confident communicator and have experience liaising with stakeholders to discuss financials.
Organised and uphold high attention to detail.
Identify and drive areas of improvement and change across the finance function.
Strong problem solver and able to deliver practical solutions.
Currently studying and working towards completion of CIMA or ACCA.
Strong Excel skills.
