Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? A welcoming and inclusive school in Telford is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team this September. This long-term role is ideal for someone who wants to make a meaningful difference in a supportive environment where every child is valued and encouraged to thrive.
What you'll be doing:
* Providing 1:1 or small group support for pupils with a range of SEN needs
* Assisting the class teacher with lesson planning and differentiated activities
* Supporting pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour management
* Monitoring progress and feeding back to staff and parents
* Creating a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment
What we're looking for:
* Previous experience supporting children with SEN (in school or care settings)
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach
* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
* Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support (desirable but not essential)
