Are you passionate about driving ambitious fundraising strategies and leading high-performing teams? We're looking for a Senior Individual Giving Manager to join our Public Fundraising team at Mencap. You will lead the development and implementation of Mencap's Individual Giving strategy, working closely with the Head of Public Fundraising to ensure alignment with wider team goals. You will also oversee the planning and delivery of a range of fundraising and stewardship campaigns, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget, achieving strong results against objectives.
This is a full-time, permanent role (37.5 hours per week) based in London. While we offer flexibility in work location, attendance at the London office is expected twice weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the development and delivery of Mencap's Individual Giving strategy, ensuring alignment with wider Public Fundraising goals.
2. Manage a talented team including two Senior Officers and a Senior Digital Marketing Specialist.
3. Empower the team to succeed in recruiting, retaining, and developing supporters across various products and channels.
4. Plan and execute fundraising and stewardship campaigns, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and strong performance against objectives.
5. Utilize data-driven insights and sector knowledge to improve supporter engagement and campaign effectiveness.
6. Proven experience in developing and implementing successful individual giving strategies.
7. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and support others.
8. Excellent budgeting and analytical capabilities, with a deep understanding of the fundraising sector and audience engagement.
9. Ability to craft emotive and compelling messages that drive action and foster long-term supporter relationships.
