Lead Engineer - Gas Distribution Networks
Home/Field Based covering a West Midlands, West of England, South Wales Patch (Newport, Worcester, Banbury, Slough, Swindon)
Salary: £48,000-£57,000 plus car/car allowance, superb pension and 25 days leave.
Hours: 37.5 hours Monday - Friday plus standby rota for emergencies.
Are you an experienced Utilities/Gas Engineer with experience of operation and maintenance activities on gas distribution networks? If so, this is a fantastic opportunity for a permanent role covering a regional patch for a large national utilities infrastructure provider. This is a senior and responsible role offering autonomy and the chance to work regionally rather than nationally.
The Role
1. Full time, permanent field based role covering a regional patch for a large utilities company.
2. Ensure gas network assets are maintained and operated satisfactorily including undertaking audits and site inspections.
3. Team lead direct staff (up to 6) and also manage subcontractors.
4. Ensure the fitness for purpose of operational equipment.
The Person
1. Experience at a senior level in Gas Distribution engineering.
2. Experience of undertaking complex asset related surveys.
3. Membership or working towards membership of Engtech.
4. Full UK driving licence is essential.
