We have an opportunity fora Process Safety Engineer at one of our manufacturing sites located at Widnes.Reporting to the Lead Process Engineer, you will work under their guidanceproviding technical process safety expertise to actively support the promotionof, and engaging in, process and workplace SHE.
A key requirement of this role will involve collaboration withmulti-disciplinary teams, you will apply your process safety knowledge andleadership skills to help maintain safe and reliable operations and tofacilitate the delivery of site objectives. It is expected that you will have aworking knowledge of the relevant engineering codes and standards and candemonstrate their practical application.

* Chemical / Process Engineering Degree
* Minimum 5 years Process Engineer / ProcessSafety experience
* Strong understanding of Process Safety andexperience of undertaking and participating in safety studies (PSSR,Pressure Relief, Risk Assessments, Hazard Studies, LoPA, ALARPDemonstration, PUWER, DSEAR, etc.)
* Able to provide monthly and quarterly updateson Process Safety KPIs
* Experience of Management of Change systems andprocedures
* High degree of analytical and numeracy skills
* Proficient in report writing, producingdocumentation and the development of procedures and training
* Experience of supporting production /manufacturing operations
* Experience of working within multi-disciplineteams
* Able to troubleshoot, problem solve, analysedata and suggest improvements
* Able to specify process equipment and producedatasheets
* Able to undertake project scoping,PFD/P&ID development, and design documentation
* Excellent interpersonal skills, able to workand communicate with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels
* Relevant Masters Degree or Equivalent
* Human Factors
* Project management and planning skills /experience
* NEBOSH (General)
* CAD
* SAP
