Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for experienced Machine Operators in Leigh
Location: Leigh, WN7
Shift:
Monday- Friday
Weekly rotating shift pattern: 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm
Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour, 40 hours a week
Skills & Experience:
Experience as a machine operator
Knowledge of production procedures
Problem solving
Decision making
Concentration
Attention to detail
Teamwork
Able to follow instructions and production schedules
Physical stamina and strength
Main duties are:
Grinding machine operation (full training given)
Manual handling (up to 25kg bags)
Forklift licence is beneficial but they will train people in house
Loading and unloading trucks, lifting pallets onto platform & general warehousing duties)
General housekeeping
Safe working practices
First aid training provided
Ongoing work
Start: ASAP
