Private Client Solicitor

A well-established and award-winning law firm with a strong UK and international presence is looking to recruit a Private Client Solicitor into its growing team. The firm is known for delivering high-quality, client-focused legal services and offers a supportive and collaborative working environment where individuals are encouraged to develop and progress.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing Private Client team, working within a specialist sub-team focusing on high-quality work for mass affluent clients.
You will handle a varied caseload with a strong focus on inheritance tax planning, estate planning and estate administration, while also playing a part in the continued growth of the team.
Some travel and occasional out-of-hours work will be required for business development, meetings and training.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a varied private client caseload including IHT planning, Wills, LPAs, estate administration and lifetime trusts
* Delivering a high-quality and efficient service to clients
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
* Working to agreed targets and deadlines with minimal supervision
* Supporting the wider team and contributing to its ongoing growth
* Ensuring compliance with internal systems and quality procedures
* Proactively contributing to business development activities
About You
* Qualified Solicitor with circa 3-5 years PQE
* Strong experience in private client work, particularly IHT and estate planning
* Ability to manage a varied caseload independently
* Excellent communication and client care skills
* Commercially aware with a proactive approach
* Experience supporting business development
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* A team player with a hands-on and motivated approach
