About the Role As a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant, you will: Work closely with teachers, support staff and senior leaders to provide tailored support for pupils with SEMH needs. Build positive, trusting relationships to help pupils feel safe, understood and ready to learn. Contribute to individual behaviour plans, implementing consistent strategies and interventions. Support pupils in managing their emotions, developing resilience and improving engagement in lessons. Encourage positive behaviour through de-escalation, restorative approaches and proactive support.
