The Opportunity
Action Recruitment is representing a well-established precision engineering firm in Willenhall, now seeking a skilled Technical Toolmaker to join their day shift team.
Key Responsibilities
* Manufacture, repair, and modify jigs, fixtures, and tooling to tight tolerances
* Interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications
* Operate manual and CNC machinery to produce precision tooling
* Conduct tooling inspections and ensure compliance with quality standards
* Support production teams with tooling-related problem solving and improvements
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
What You’ll Bring
* Proven experience in toolmaking within a precision engineering environment
* Strong understanding of machining processes and materials
* Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings
* Skilled in both manual and CNC machining (preferred)
* Methodical, quality-focused approach with good attention to detail
This is a permanent day shift role offering up to £18/hour
