On behalf of our client school, Tradewind are looking to appoint an experienced Primary teacher to work across Years 4 and 5 on a part-time basis. This post is 3 days a week commencing Easter until the end of the academic and presents an exciting opportunity within a friendly and supporting environment in which to thrive! As a teacher joining the KS2 department, your responsibilities will include: Delivering both core and foundation subjects to pupils in Year 4 and 5 Build a positive rapport with all pupils and display good behaviour management skills Communicate effectively with class teachers across KS2 to discuss individual pupil needs Work well independently as well as part of the KS2 team and communicate effectively to feedback on pupil progress Incorporate a range of formative and summative assessment strategies to determine progress and inform intervention Liaise well with other classroom staff to ensure they are well informed of the days tasks Use modern technology to enhance learning opportunitiesThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a wonderful school and make a positive impact to pupils in KS2 on a part-time basis.
