Contracted Hours (Over a 2-week rotating schedule):
* Full time 07.00-14.00 & 16.00-22.00 (Over a 2-week rota: Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun; followed by Wed, Thu, Fri)
* Part-time contracted 09.00-15.00 (Over a 2-week rota: Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun; followed by Wed, Thu, Fri)
* Part-time contracted 07.00-14.00 (Over a 2-week rota: Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun; followed by Wed, Thu, Fri)
* Part-time contracted 16.00-22.00 (Over a 2-week rota: Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun; followed by Wed, Thu, Fri)
A full UK driving licence is essential.
Role Overview – What You’ll Do:
As a Care Support Worker at LQCS, you will provide compassionate, person-centred care tailored to each individual's needs – directly in the comfort of their own home.
* Assisting with personal care (washing, bathing, dressing, toileting, shaving, dental care)
* Supporting with and administering medication as per care plans
* Helping with meal preparation, hydration, and monitoring nutrition intake
* Carrying out safe moving and handling practices
* Light domestic tasks (e.g. washing dishes, changing linen, emptying bins)
* Providing companionship and stimulating conversation
* Promoting client independence and encouraging participation in daily activities
* Recording care tasks using the CareBerry App
* Raising any safeguarding concerns promptly according to LQCS procedures
* Following company policies and staying within the boundaries of your role
What We’re Looking For:
* A kind, compassionate and empathetic approach
* Strong communication and listening skills
* Confidence to work independently or as part of a team
* Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
* A commitment to upholding high standards of care
* Experience in care is welcomed but not essential – full training provided
* Driving licence and access to a vehicle are required
