The successful candidate will have experience in a previous purchasing role and be able to meet the business's needs by effectively managing and maintaining supplier relationships, ensuring the timely supply of critical and high-value materials to satisfy customer requirements.
Responsibilities of Technical Buyer:
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships aligned with company standards.
Conduct supplier audits to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and reliability.
Raise and manage purchase orders with a focus on best procurement practices.
Handle contracts, confidentiality agreements, invoice queries, and supplier negotiations.
Support tendering processes and assist bid teams with accurate lead time and product data.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Experience in purchasing within a manufacturing or engineering setting.
Skilled in cost analysis and budget management.
ERP system knowledge
Strong IT skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
Excellent team collaboration and independent working capabilities.
