Strong understanding of the full test lifecycle, including planning, execution, defect management and reporting. Experience producing test strategies, plans, scripts and test evidence. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Desirable expertise in one or more of the following areas: Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments. DNS infrastructure and associated services. VMware vSphere and virtualisation platforms. Infrastructure services testing and validation. Network services and enterprise platform testing. Performance and resilience testing of virtualised environments. Responsibilities: Develop, review and execute Infrastructure Test Plans, Test Scripts and Test Cases. Perform functional, integration, system and performance testing across infrastructure environments. Manage defects through their full lifecycle, including identification, logging, tracking and resolution validation. Produce comprehensive test evidence, reports and assurance documentation. Validate infrastructure deployments against technical and business requirements. Support test readiness reviews, test execution activities and operational acceptance processes. Work closely with Infrastructure Engineers, Architects, Service Delivery teams and third-party suppliers. Identify testing risks, issues and dependencies and provide mitigation recommendations. Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies and tooling.
