Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire
Salary/Benefits: £25k - £34k + Training & Benefits
Due to company expansion, we are recruiting for a Water Hygiene Engineer in the Yorkshire area, to cover a range of commercial and domestic client sites. Our client is a leading name within the Water Hygiene / Treatment industry, with a strong UK-wide presence and excellent reputation. They offer a wide range of services for clients, so there are attractive opportunities for further training and development. Ideally, candidates will have access to the M62 for easier travel in the region. They are offering competitive salaries and benefits packages, including: company vehicle, overtime and pension scheme.
You will be travelling across: Bradford, Leeds, Batley, Morley, Brighouse, Dewsbury, Huddersfield, Holmfirth, Wakefield, Harrogate, Knaresborough, Normanton, Castleford, Pontefract, Barnsley, Halifax, Keighley, Shipley, Otley, Guiseley, Horsforth, Wetherby, Tadcaster, Garforth, Sherburn in Elmet, Selby, Doncaster, Rotherham, Mexborough, Sheffield, Oldham, Rochdale.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Must have experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer within a well-established outfit
- Able to work in accordance with ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
- Will have worked across a mixed portfolio of client sites, including: commercial, public sector and domestic
- Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
- Hardworking attitude
- Able to work both individually and within teams
The Role:
- Attending a range of client sites to ensure adherence within ACOP L8 compliance guidelines
- Showerhead descales
- CWST cleans and disinfections
- TMV testing and service
- Calorifier inspections
- Mains injections
- Cleans and disinfections on cooling towers
- Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring
- Completing regular reports on daily duties
