We are currently recruiting for an exciting role in Secondary Education.
We are working in partnership with a large Catholic High School in the Sutton Area to recruit graduates to work in education as teaching assistants.
The school is looking for dynamic and driven candidates who want to build their experience in education and progress into teaching roles. Becoming a teaching assistant is a fantastic opportunity to gain skills and experience for teacher training (PGCE) courses and higher-level teaching qualifications. The school will support your skill development and help you thrive in education.

Start Date: Summer and September 2025
Contract: Term contract
Hours: 35 hours per week / term-time only + 5 inset days
A successful candidate will be subject to DfE vetting checks.
Your new company

They welcome candidates with experience working with secondary-aged children outside of formal education.
Your new role
You will support pupils in busy lessons, including those with SEN, working in groups or 1-1 for intervention in English and Maths. You may be involved in monitoring and reporting on pupil progress and behaviour, following school policies on behaviour management and safeguarding. CPD training will be provided, and you will participate in the duty roster. Proficiency in KS3 and KS4 Literacy and Numeracy is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
