Vision for Education is seeking an experienced Part time- Teaching Assistant to work in an SEN School in Cheltenham on a full-time basis. The role The school seeks a Part time - Teaching Assistant who will be enthusiastic, empathetic, patient and caring. providing support and guidance to the students in their variety of learning needs and assistance with personal care / moving and handling with hoists. Delivering support to children across KS1 and KS2 on a one-to-one and small-group basis. Building a trustworthy and lasting relationship with students, enabling them to reach their full potential whilst shining bright. Ideally have your own transport or close public transport links Experience with both small group and 1:1 is beneficial Friendly and nurturing qualities. Competent behaviour management skills. Have experience supporting children and young adults with a range of different learning needs and abilities – PMLD, MLD, ADHD, ADD, ASD, Global Delay, VI, HI, SEMH Preferably moving and handling training or have recent experience in this. Have a patient and caring nature. Have a desire to work with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. Willing to complete CPD training.
