About the Role: As a Behaviour Support Assistant in Nottingham, you will work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to support students with behavioural needs. Your role will be crucial in promoting positive behaviour, emotional well-being, and academic engagement. Key Responsibilities of Behaviour Support Assistant: Assist in managing classroom behaviour and implementing strategies to promote positive conduct. Help develop and implement tailored behaviour plans for students. Track behavioural progress and provide feedback to staff and parents. Work alongside teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support. Foster a nurturing space where students feel respected and understood. Use creative and adaptive methods to encourage participation. Requirements of Behaviour Support Assistant: Previous experience in a similar role or working with children with behavioural needs. Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and families. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Relevant training or qualifications in behaviour management or education (desirable but not essential). To work with us, you should: Have the right to work in the UK.
