Main Accountabilities:
1. Site planning: Plans on-site project activities related to the assigned discipline with Site Manager or Site Construction Manager, including necessary local resources, equipment, and milestones. Coordinates agreements between customer and external resources on installation/construction targets, health and safety requirements, site organization, and policy.
2. Site coordination and monitoring: Responsible for coordinating all on-site activities related to the assigned discipline, from receiving the site area from the customer or Project Manager to handover, ensuring successful execution of start-up, installation/construction, erection, testing, and commissioning activities in alignment with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements.
3. Stakeholder relations: Acts as a project representative by building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and other local organizations.
4. Health, safety, environment (HSE), and project security: Ensures a detailed and up-to-date construction H&S plan is in place for each work package, compliant with company policies. Promotes health and safety awareness among on-site resources, and is empowered to suspend activities in case of HSE violations.
5. Equipment handling and logistics: Ensures correct handling, storage, and installation of delivered equipment, coordinating on-site storage and shipment logistics to secure timely delivery.
6. Sub-contractors management: Manages on-site sub-contractors hired by ABB to ensure quality and progress meet standards and delivery schedules.
7. Site cost management: Monitors project site costs against forecasts, manages petty cash, and has delegated authority for local purchasing within limits.
8. Documentation: Maintains and updates documentation, ensuring the latest revisions are used for construction work.
9. People leadership and development: Organizes, staffs, and directs the team, guides, motivates, and develops team members, and manages local site facilities.
Summary: Supervises a team responsible for tasks within an assigned area, ensuring proper work coordination and conducting performance reviews.
We seek candidates with several years of experience as a Site Supervisor, with good knowledge of Site Management, HSE, Environment, Quality Assurance & Control, Installation Works, and basic understanding of Commissioning and Civil Works.
