The role
As Team Manager, you will lead a skilled and passionate multi-disciplinary team delivering high-quality youth justice interventions. You will oversee risk management, ensure safeguarding is prioritised, and drive service improvement in a complex and high-risk environment. You will be part of a well-resourced Vulnerable Adolescent Service, working alongside Police, Probation, substance misuse services, and a University’s Risk Outside the Home programme.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading and supervising a passionate multi-agency team
* Overseeing complex risk and safeguarding processes
* Driving innovation and continuous service improvement
* Representing the service at strategic and multi-agency forums
* Ensuring compliance with youth justice standards and frameworks
Experience
* Experience in youth justice, social work, probation, or working with vulnerable adolescents
* Confidence in leading or supervising staff
* Strong safeguarding and risk management background
* A collaborative, resilient, and child-first leadership style
