Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant / Nursery Practitioner

* Location: St Helens, WA11
* Contract: Day‑to‑Day / Flexible Supply
* Start Date: ASAP
* Pay Rate: £14.25 – £17.66 per hour (dependent on experience)

We are currently recruiting Level 3 qualified Early Years professionals to support a friendly and welcoming Primary School in the WA11 area of St Helens.

This role is ideal for a passionate Early Years Teaching Assistant / Nursery Practitioner who enjoys flexible, day‑to‑day work and making a real difference during the most important stages of a child’s development.

You’ll be working within EYFS classes (Nursery and Reception), supporting children through high‑quality learning, play, and care experiences within a school setting.

The Role

As a Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant / Nursery Practitioner, you will:

* Provide high‑quality day‑to‑day support within EYFS classes in a primary school
* Support children aged 3–5 through engaging, play‑based and structured learning
* Deliver and support activities in line with the EYFS framework
* Assist with daily routines, transitions, and personal care where required
* Encourage pupils’ social, emotional, and early academic development
* Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
* Work closely with class teachers, EYFS leads, and the wider school team
* Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

* Hold a Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification (essential)
