Teaching Assistant - Secondary School (Oldham and surrounding areas)
About the Role
As a Secondary School Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Provide classroom support to pupils aged 11-16, helping them to access learning and achieve their potential.
* Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging lessons and targeted interventions.
* Support students with additional needs, including SEND, behavioural, and emotional support.
* Help create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
* Build strong relationships with students, staff, and families to encourage progress and wellbeing.
About You
We\'re looking for someone who is:
* Experienced working with secondary-aged students (school-based experience desirable).
* Qualified at Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent).
* Passionate about education and helping young people overcome barriers to learning.
* Resilient, patient, and adaptable with excellent communication skills.
* Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
