Job Description
The Traveling Superintendent will:
1.
Supervise all on-site construction activities for retail fit-out projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and deadlines.
2.
Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
3.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site that complies with OSHA and company safety standards.
4.
Conduct daily field reports and regular site meetings to monitor progress and address issues proactively.
5.
Collaborate with the project management team to update schedules, resolve conflicts, and ensure materials and labor are available as needed.
6.
Perform quality control inspections to ensure workmanship meets client expectations and contract requirements.
7.
Manage punch lists, closeouts, and turnover processes efficiently and professionally.
8.
Represent the company on-site as the primary point of contact with clients, inspectors, and vendors.

The Successful Applicant
The Traveling Superintendent should have:

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in retail interior fit-out or tenant improvement construction.

Strong knowledge of construction means and methods
11.
Ability and willingness to travel extensively (up to 100%)
12.
Proven ability to manage multiple trades and fast-track schedules.
13.
Proficiency in reading blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.
14.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
15.
OSHA 30 certification preferred.
16.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
