Tesla is seeking expressions of interest for an Instructional Designer to create engaging educational experiences for our team. The Instructional Designer will scope out, plan, and design training programs in multiple formats, ensuring our learners are guided through cohesive, impactful learning journeys. This individual must be creative, organised, energised by quick timelines, and excited to change the world. The ideal candidate is not satisfied with the status quo - their target is exceptional.
What You’ll Do
* Design, develop, and refine classroom, virtual classroom, online, and self-paced training programs for customer experience, sales, service, leadership, and other roles.
* Own multiple instructional design projects from beginning to end, flexing as needed within the fast-paced environment and shifting priorities.
* Create course outlines, storyboards, and scripts that meet the learning objectives.
* Partner with project managers, stakeholders, and subject matter experts throughout the design process to ensure that the business need is fully understood and addressed by the learning program.
* Organise multiple course modules, lessons, and materials into clear and cohesive curricula.
* Identify and build content delivery strategies that provide the best learning experience.
* Ensure training metrics that measure the success of the projects are identified and measured before, during, and after implementation.
* Work with global teams to gather content and build localised training for local implementation.
What You’ll Bring
* Experience developing online training and performance improvement materials.
* Experience with e-Learning authoring tools such as Captivate, Articulate, or similar products.
* Project management, self-management, and multi-tasking skills.
* Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
* Experience maintaining or updating course material within a learning management system preferred.
* Expected to challenge assumptions, be open to feedback and new ideas, and continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of training programs through a culture of innovation and collaboration.
* Intermediate knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite development software a plus.
* Excellent writing, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in English.
