Job Purpose
As part of the EUA BPIT Regional Developed Systems team, design and develop IT solutions for business users in the Europe and Africa region. The role will require working with, and supporting users across all ONE business functions.
You will provide support to the team’s RPA Developers as needed.
A flexible and supportive approach to all responsibilities within the department is required.
Primary Job Responsibilities and Measurement
Application and RPA Development
1. Develop regional and local systems/RPAs using BPIT approved tools and methodologies.
2. Build software/RPA components meeting the requirements laid out by RDS team members that can be integrated into larger projects.
3. Create proof-of-concept prototypes to define/elicit requirements using approved development tools and methodologies.
4. Perform code reviews of Regional Developed Systems RPA projects to ensure maintainability and quality.
Support
5. Provide day-to-day support as and when required for the systems/RPAs delivered to the business by the RDS team.
6. Technical support may be required to be given to other EUA BPIT teams on a prioritised basis.
7. Business analysis support may be required to be given to other EUA BPIT teams on a prioritised basis.

Skills, Qualifications and Expertise
8. Min. IT graduate OR equivalent experience in application design, development and implementation.
9. Experience with RPA solutions is required; UiPath is preferable.
10. Required programming languages: VB.Net (Within the context of Ui Path activities) HTML/CSS ECMA Script; Javascript, Google Apps Script Python
11. Desirable programming languages: Bash-script C# Java PHP VB.Net
12. Must be proficient with relational databases & SQL
13. Experience working with, and setting up development environments
14. Must demonstrate an understanding of version control systems such as Git.
15. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
16. Business Analysis experience is desirable.
17. Experience within Liner shipping is desirable.
