East Dunbartonshire Council is currently seeking to recruit an Electrician to join our in-house trade team. We provide Repairs and Maintenance services across our housing and non-housing portfolio. The successful applicant will assist in delivering core activities related to electrical inspection and testing, primarily Portable Appliance Testing and Electrical Installation Condition Reports.
Job Summary

PVG / Disclosure Scotland
All roles within East Dunbartonshire Council requiring PVG/Disclosure checks will follow the criteria outlined below. Successful candidates for regulated roles under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020 will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check before employment is confirmed. The cost of the check will be deducted from the first salary, with possible installment options. If an employee leaves before deduction, the full amount will be deducted from the final salary. Existing employees applying for such roles will be subject to the same criteria.
