This role will play a key part in our DCWW AMP8 framework in Wales, alongside wider Design and Construct projects across England, Scotland, and Wales. The Opportunity As a Senior Planner, you will take ownership of planning and project controls across individual projects and programme-level delivery. You will work closely with project teams and client stakeholders, ensuring robust programme development, accurate reporting, and compliance. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain project programmes, ensuring contractual and procedural alignment.• Lead planning and controls functions across multiple projects.• Integrate suppliers’ programmes and monitor critical path and float.• Assess programme impact related to compensation events, claims, and time extensions.• Produce progress reports and communicate milestones and risks to management and clients.• Support and guide junior planners, helping build our growing planning capability. Essential Requirements • Strong background in planning and project controls.• Proven experience managing multi-project programme delivery.• Exposure to multi-disciplinary design, construct, and commissioning works—ideally within the Water sector.• Advanced experience in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.• Degree or relevant experience within Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Desirable • Design programme development experience.• Water and wastewater sector knowledge.• NEC contract familiarity.• Earned Value Analysis.• 4D modelling.• Chartered status. LI-HS1
