In this role, the successful Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the development and integration of high voltage systems within battery storage products. You will perform both reactive and planned maintenance from various locations, including both the workshop as well as customer sites as and when needed. In addition, you will be responsible for the testing, troubleshooting and optimisation of said high voltage systems. On top of this, you will also be responsible for ensuring all systems meet national and international safety standards. Adding to that, you will provide technical support during off‑site operations, as well as collaborate with cross‑functional teams alongside training/mentoring junior technicians. Finally, you will keep accurate technical documentation of any projects worked.
The ideal Electrical Engineer will have a background within the Power/Grid/Renewables/Battery/EV/Plant Sector or a related field. Ideally, but not necessarily, you have previous experience working with high voltage systems and/or battery storage systems. In addition, you will have previous experience within electrical testing/troubleshooting. You will have strong organisational, communication and analytical skills. Finally, you will hold a full, valid UK driver’s licence.
