Birkbeck, University of London invites you to join its student recruitment team as a Schools & Colleges Liaison Marketing Administrator. This role is central to supporting the development and implementation of a wide range of student recruitment and marketing activities targeting secondary schools, 6th forms and colleges across Greater London and the surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
* Support the UCAS application cycle by organising events and activities across campus, in secondary schools, colleges and at exhibitions.
* Communicate with prospective students, teachers and academics.
* Provide efficient administrative support for event logistics.
* Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, building a strong network across London and beyond.
* Demonstrate the impact of your work to enhance the profile of the College.
Qualifications
* Proven customer‑facing experience, preferably in higher education or the education sector.
* Strong marketing experience and communication skills.
* Excellent written and oral communication, organisational and planning abilities, and proficient IT skills.
* Ability to multitask, set priorities, and learn new software, information systems and online platforms.
* Experience as a marketing executive, office administrator, data assistant or marketing assistant is valuable.
Salary & Benefits
£31,234 to £34,827 per year, Grade 4 on the College’s London Pay Scale, including a consolidated London Weighting Allowance. The role offers a competitive salary and pension scheme, 31 days paid leave, flexible working arrangements and generous benefits within the higher education sector.
Contract & Working Arrangements
Fixed, one‑year contract (maternity cover). Full‑time (35 hours per week, 9‑5 Monday to Friday) with remote opportunities.
