About the Role
Are you a proactive professional ready to drive growth in our Power & Pump division across Scotland & North East England ? In this role, you will build and nurture strong relationships with existing customers while uncovering new business opportunities. Your mission? To boost sales, rentals, and profits by targeting both existing and new market verticals.
Your Responsibilities
As our Area Sales Manager, you will:
* Coordinate, manage, and deliver the Sales plan for your territory.
* Introduce the Carrier range of products and services to the market, identifying strategic opportunities to grow market share.
* Collaborate with colleagues to deliver industry-leading standards to our customer base.
* Build strong, value-adding relationships with existing customers.
* Prospect for new customers and explore opportunities with existing clients.
* Engage in continuous personal development on product and application knowledge.
* Contribute to and utilize Carrier Rental System data systems, especially our CRM system.
* Provide insightful reports on customer inquiries, hires, and sales in your designated area.
* Assist in the collection of payments due for services provided in your area.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* Outside sales experience in generators or power generation equipment.
* Experience with sustainable energy solutions like solar or battery storage, or plant rental experience is a plus.
* Proficiency in MS Office.
* Effective communication skills to engage with multiple stakeholders.
* A self-motivated attitude and a passion to win.
* A valid UK driving license.
