What you will be doing
An exciting opportunity for a Design Integrator has arisen in the Product Design - Integrated Systems Team. The team provides designs and capabilities for systems composed of components from multiple areas of the organization, mainly outside the gas path, including Structures, Externals, Control System Units, and Turbomachinery components.
The Integrated Systems team works closely with Component Design, System Design, and Fluid Systems, supporting future programs and other projects within civil and defence aerospace. The team is responsible for various air, oil, fuel, hydraulic, electrical, and powerplant systems on the engine.

Responsibilities
* Apply understanding of gas turbine product operation and interactions to create concept design options meeting customer needs.
* Design systems using Systems Engineering principles, including Robust Design tools & techniques.
* Manage interfaces and contribute to problem resolution through root cause investigations, safety reports, and quality concerns.
* Elicit, document, and manage technical requirements.
* Plan and manage product changes, technical approvals, and investigations.
* Verify system compliance and standardization.
* Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, possibly remote.
Who we're looking for:
We seek individuals who prioritize safety, integrity, simplicity, and impact. Essential qualities include:
* Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering or equivalent, with a passion for creating profitable system architectures.
* Experienced CAD user (NX) with high-standard 3D modeling skills.
* Knowledge of requirements management, MBSE, and systems design tools like DOORS, Capella, DFMEA.
* Strong mechanical design knowledge and understanding of cross-discipline engineering concepts.
* Knowledge of product integrity, liability, and certification frameworks.
* Understanding of manufacturing processes and early-stage design for manufacturing/assembly/cost activities.
* Membership of a relevant professional body; Chartered status is preferred in the UK.
