Metalis are currently working alongside a leading manufacturing company based in Sheffield who are looking for a Production Operative to join the team!
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor machinery and equipment in a heavy manufacturing environment.
Ensure production runs smoothly, efficiently, and to quality standards.
Carry out regular quality checks and record production data accurately.
Support setup, changeovers, and basic maintenance of production lines.
Follow all Health & Safety procedures and promote a safe working environment.
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets.
Assist in loading/unloading materials and maintaining a clean work area.Shifts & Salary:
£14.46ph
Working Hours: Monday, Tuesday = Days / Wednesday, Thursday = Nights
4 day working week
12 Week Temporary - PermanentThe ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (steel or metals industry preferred, but not essential).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Basic mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn machinery operation.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
