Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Warehouse Supervisor located in Derby. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, material handling, and inventory control. The role involves managing team schedules, ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining safety protocols, and collaborating with other departments to meet business needs. Providing leadership and coaching to warehouse staff is also a key aspect of this role.
Qualifications
Strong Supervisory Skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively
Experience in Shipping & Receiving and Inventory Control to ensure accurate and efficient handling of goods
Proficiency in Material Handling and Forklift Operation to manage warehouse procedures and equipment safely
Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a focus on problem-solving and attention to detail
Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic computer skills
Ability to meet physical requirements of the role, including lifting and standing for extended periods
Previous experience in a similar supervisory role is highly desirable
